Uitreiking EFA's live te volgen

Zaterdagavond 3 december is de uitreiking van de European Film Awards van 20.00 tot 22.00 uur live te volgen op www.europeanfilmawards.eu via een live stream. De uitreiking vindt plaats in het Tempodrom te Berlijn.

Uitreiking in de categorieën:
Beste Film, Beste Regie, Beste Actrice, Beste Acteur, Beste Scenarioschrijver, Beste Cinematographer, Beste Editor, Beste Production Design, Beste Componist, Beste Korte Film, Beste Lange Animatiefilm, Beste Documentaire - Prix Arte en de
Discovery Award.

Bekend zijn al de EFA Lifetime Achievement Award voor Stephen Frears, de European Film Academy Achievement in World Cinema 2011 voor Mads Mikkelsen, de European Coproduction Award - Prix Eurimages voor
Mariela Besulevsky.

Nederland  is vertegenwoordigd door onder andere regisseur Leonard Retel Helmrich en Hetty Naaijkens-Retel Helmrich i.v.m. de nominatie Beste Europese Documentaire - Prix Arte voor hun film STAND VAN DE STERREN.

De meeste nominaties zijn dit jaar voor MELANCHOLIA (8), THE ARTIST (4), LE GAMIN AU VELO (4), HÆVNEN (4), THE KING'S SPEECH (4), LE HAVRE (4)
