Milena Canonero krijgt ere-Gouden Beer

In het festivalonderdeel 'Hommage' van het jaarlijkse filmfestival Berlijn staat dit jaar kostuumontwerpster Milena Canonero centraal. 

Milena Canonero ontvangt tevens een Gouden Beer voor haar gehele oeuvre. De Italiaanse is een van de meest onderscheiden kostuumontwerpers van de wereld. Ze werkte met vele beroemde regisseurs, waaronder Stanley Kubrick, Francis Ford Coppola, Sydney Pollack, Warren Beatty, Roman Polanski, Steven Soderbergh, Louis Malle, Tony Scott, Barbet Schroeder, Sofia Coppola en Wes Anderson. Ze heeft in haar carrière vier van haar negen Oscarnominaties verzilverd.
